Something that I noticed recently are the concept arts of Dreamworks. While watching some of the films I saw that the lighting was very different compared to Disney films. These are concepts arts of a bunch of Dreamworks films and all of them have something in common; the lighting for the scenes are very precise and whenever the light hits something it’s more intense. While in Disney films, the artist use in palettes of color. For brother bear or The princess and the frog, golden tones were used.
Sketches from life drawing! Once we had this amazing Japanese model who did really cool poses!
